Karrusel Festival

We had the pleasure of collaborating with Karusellen for their fifth festival in Copenhagen, where we set up areas for people to connect, hangout and chill all throughout the festival.

Challenge:

The challenge was to create temporary structures that would seamlessly fit into the festival area and create an inviting atmosphere for the visitors to enjoy. But also to ensure an eco-friendly solution that leaves no waste behind.

Solution:

We leveraged our innovative Mellow Joint system to create three distinct, inviting spaces where people could relax and connect. These areas were carefully designed to complement the festival’s aesthetic while providing functional spaces for visitors to relax and enjoy the moment.

Key to our solution was the upcycling of Euro Pallets, allowing us to build structures that were not only sturdy and stylish but also entirely eco-friendly. The modular nature of our design meant that each space could be quickly assembled and dismantled, minimizing both setup time and environmental impact. By reusing materials and embracing a zero-waste approach, we shaped the festival experience without leaving any footprint behind.

Our solution successfully merged sustainability with functionality, creating areas that felt organic to the festival environment, all while staying true to the core values of the event: community, creativity, and environmental responsibility.

Outcome:

Our structures were able to seamlessly fit into the atmosphere the festival created. The visitors were able to enjoy our structures as somewhere to wind down, have a chat and meet new people. With our solution we were able to create this within a short timespan and help the festival achieve their goal in being more environmentally concious.
